Giggles the elf arrived last night after we watched the movie Elf on the Shelf on tv. He brought his notebook to write down all the good and bad choices that the girls make to report back to Santa. He also brought back the book about himself. That made Katelyn very happy because she had been searching every where for it last week. And last, he brought a girl elf who we named Jingles. She is an apprentice elf and learning how to be a scout elf from Giggles.
I heard Katelyn talking to Giggles a few times today. She introduced him to her Tinkerbell doll. Before going to bed, she told him good night. So far he has had a positive influence on the choices she's making throughout the day:)
