Today I am thankful for the most awesome teacher Katelyn has this year, Mrs. Bistline. While Beth, Angie, and I were having a MOMS Club calendar meeting, Miss E. was being read to by Katelyn (Happy Birthday, Cookie Monster). Miss E. seemed to be enjoying it just as much as I love to hear her read. Katelyn reads with such confidence, yet knows when a word doesn't seem right and corrects herself. She reads like she's been reading forever, using the correct intonations throughout the book. It brings tears to my eyes, knowing that my love of reading is being passed onto her with the help of Mrs. Bistline. So yes, today I am thankful for the patience and knowledge that my friend has to help my little girl learn all that she needs to know to go far in life. Because as much as I love my girls, having patience when trying to teach them something is not my strength.

Oh, this photo is even better than the one you posted on FB. I'm stealing it for my blog, too!
