Parent Teacher conference

Poor Katelyn...Chloe has been doing so much lately, I've been putting Katelyn's life on the back burner when it comes to blogging. Very sorry about that!
So to update you on her progress in preschool this year, her teacher, Mrs. Knight, told Bob and I at the conference last Friday that Katelyn was ready for Kindergarten at the beginning of preschool this year:) Yay, Katelyn! She knows all her letters and numbers, colors, shapes, follows directions, uses her manners.
She has been doing Kidwriting since October and the progress she has made is amazing. I did Kidwriting with the Kindergarteners I taught many moons ago and absolutely loved seeing how their little minds work. When I get Katelyn's Kidwriting book, I'll be sure to post pictures. It's just so neat! Katelyn knows several sight words, I don't even know how many, at least 20?

Mrs. Knight has also seen a change for the better in her maturity over the past month. I've noticed it at home too. She's more willing to do what I ask...not all the time, but she is four so gotta cut her some slack.

This is totally off the topic...Katelyn told me the other day when we were having a disagreement about something, that I'm a mean witch. I should be upset, but that just means that I'm doing my job as a parent:)
