On Wednesday, March 16th, I made some leprechaun pie (green pudding, homemade whipped cream, sprinkled some crushed cookies on top, stuck a cookie in the whipped cream, and hid a green Hershey's kiss at the bottom of the cup). Katelyn saw something green at the bottom and wanted to know what it was right away. I told her it was surprise. She insisted that she had to know so to keep it fun, I told her that a leprechaun had cast a spell on me that wouldn't let me say what it was. I kept 'trying' to say Hershey kiss, but of course, my tongue would not let me;) That made Katelyn angry so she yells out (at no one in particular, just the magical leprechaun), "Leprechaun, take back your spell!! I want to know what the surprise is!! Make my mommy tell me!!"
I said, "Oh, no, now you've done it, you've made the leprechaun mad. Do you know what happens when a leprechaun gets mad? He takes revenge by wrecking your house!"
Katelyn didn't believe me at first, but throughout the evening she kept looking around and asking if the leprechaun had wrecked up anything yet. I told her once again before bed to not be surprised if the house is messed up in the morning. And sure enough...
That was AWESOME!!!
