Last Friday, July 2nd, I took the girls to Chambersburg for First Friday. For those of you who have no clue what that is, it's basically just a way for downtown businesses to get people to come back downtown. Artists set up their drawings, photography, paintings; businesses set up a table in front of their store with some items; a band plays at the square; kids' activities include a animal balloon maker, face painting, a couple singing kids' music.
We bumped into a few friends from MOMS club and their kids. There weren't as many people out as last year, but we still had a nice time.
Katelyn wanted a painting of a real person and a dog so the lady painted Katelyn walking Roxy:)
The ice cream shop we stopped at only accepts cash and I only had one lousy dollar so Katelyn and I shared a dish of chocolate ice cream.
