Miss Chloe Bear is 3 months old today! Here's a recap of all that she is doing now:
- I'm not sure what her length or weight is, but I know she's grown quite a bit. She was wearing 3-6 month sleepers at the beginning of the month and now she's into 6-9 month sleepers.
- Oh, the giggles! She gives them out quite frequently now, mainly when Katelyn makes funny sounds or when you tickle her collar bone. It's such an adorable little laugh!
- She coos and squeals a lot, too. And screams. Oh boy, can she scream. I'm thinking she's in competition with Katelyn to see who can scream the loudest.
- When she's tired, there's nothing you can do except put her down somewhere (bouncy seat, bassinet, swing) and let her put herself to sleep. She does NOT like to be rocked to sleep.
- We have fallen into a great schedule. Wake around 8:00, eat and play, Nap for 45 minutes or so, play, nap for another hour, eat and play for 2 hours, nap for 3-4 hours in the afternoon, eat and play for 2 hours, get ready for bed, sleep in bouncy seat from 8:30ish to midnight, eat, sleep the rest of the night in the bassinet only waking up every 3-4 hours to eat. Love it!
- She's still spitting up quite a bit, but I'm noticing it is starting to decrease in frequency and quantity, thank goodness.
- She rolled over, once, from belly to back, but refuses to do it again. She's not a real fan of tummy time. She tolerates it for about 5 minutes and then screams:)
- So far no diaper rashes!! Whoo hoo for that!
- She's had breast milk and formula from a bottle and had no problems with it. Mom babysat a few days ago and was a little sweetie for her. Maybe Daddy will give a bottle this week?
- She's starting to figure out that her hands are there and that they actually have purpose. Chloe likes to chew on her fingers, suck on her hand, and bat at toys occasionally.
