We did a little of everything over the weekend. Friday night I actually let Katelyn play in the sand pile that she has been begging to play in for weeks. We didn't find too much sand in her underwear!
Katelyn and I visited Wally and the kids before Ashley and Austin had the their last dance of the year. I refuse to get Katelyn a ball pit b/c of all she wants to do is throw them out. And guess who gets to clean them up??!!
On Saturday Katelyn and I went yard saling in the morning and found a few cute clothes for her and a Strawberry Shortcake tray that I'll use for her party this coming Saturday. We stopped at the Farmers Market in Chambersburg, but I think we got there too late. There wasn't much to choose from, just a few bags of romaine lettuce and some plants. I'll try again in 2 weeks when more fruits and veggies are ready. I can't wait for some fresh strawberries! Yum!
Later that evening Tim and his girlfriend, Noelle, stopped by to give Katelyn her birthday present which was a Little Pony board game. Very cute:) I love that Katelyn's getting into playing games. Andrew and I had so much fun playing Candy Land and Monopoly Jr. when we were kids.
On Sunday, we went to church in the morning. I finally let Katelyn have some independence this week. I wanted to stay at the Kids Thang, but she didn't even bat an eyelash when I walked away so I went back to the service and found out later, that she didn't miss me at all. Wah!!!!
Pity party over....
After church, we went to my friend Tracy's house for her graduation party. She now has a degree in Nursing from Penn State. Go Penn State (that's for Andrew!)
Tracy's aunt drew this guy so that we could play "Give the patient a shot in butt" game!!! LOL

On Monday after I worked a couple of hours, we went to Fran and Ruth's house in Greencastle. Fran is Bob Sr.'s friend from when they all lived in Massachusetts. He invited the whole Boyce clan. Here's Katelyn in her patriotic outfit.
She can only be serious about 5% of the day and the rest of the day, this is what I get out of her!!:)

Fran and Ruth have a stream in their backyard. Katelyn thought the waterfall was just great! Doesn't she look so grown up here?
