Katelynisms

The day we brought Chloe home from the hospital, Katelyn ran into the kitchen at 10:25 am and had this conversation with Mom:
Katelyn: "Mamma, Mamma, Baby Chloe just popped out!"
Mom: "You think she just popped out?!"
Katelyn: "Did she, Mamma?"
Mom:"Yes, you're right, she's here now."

Last night at dinner, Katelyn asked me where Chloe was before she was in my belly. I had no idea what to say so Bob came to my rescue by explaining how trees and plants grow from seeds and get bigger and bigger. He told her that Chloe was a seed before she was a baby. Thankfully, Katelyn was content with that answer:)

While I was having Chloe, Katelyn was sick with a really bad cough so Mom had to take her to the doctor. Mom told her before they left house where they were going. Katelyn was not happy about it at all and threw a hug fit. Mom told her that they need to be brave little soldiers which worked for a few minutes until they got in the car. The whole way to the doctor's office, Katelyn would cough and then say, "Okay Mamma, that was my last cough, we can go home now." When they passed by Sunnyway, Katelyn said, "Mamma, turn into that parking lot and turn around. My coughs are all gone."
