Daily summary

At 11 days old, Chloe is doing what is expected of a newborn...eating every 2-3 hours, sleeping the rest of the time. When she is awake, she enjoys looking at the face of the person holding her. She also loves her bouncy seat and the little monkey hanging from it. Today she grabbed one of the toys twice. We're not sure if it was by accident or not, though. She also enjoys having Katelyn hold her and talk to her.
Katelyn was quite a pickle today even though Bob took her outside for over an hour to play in the massive amounts of snow we got yesterday. She was doing everything she could to get attention from me or Bob. We had to tell her at least 3 times to do something before she'd do it or threaten to turn the tv off. I'm hoping tomorrow I can find some time while Chloe sleeps to play a game with Katelyn and start her Valentines for her friends.
Each day is getting a little easier for me to get around. If I sit for too long, then my hips and midsection get stiff and of course, if I do too much, my legs become achy and my hips hurt. As I've said many times, one day at a time! I think Wednesday I'm going to venture out with Bob and Chloe to get groceries while Katelyn is in preschool.

  1. Lily had a really hard time after Charlie was born. Doing whatever she could to get our attention. After I felt well enough I just made sure I took her somewhere-just the two of us, at least once every two weeks. And my husband did the same.

Oh and did you know we are supposed to get 6-10 more on Wednesday? *sigh*
