Easter 2009 part 1

On Friday morning, TB Woods had an egg hunt for all kids of the company. This year they even invited the Easter Bunny. Katelyn wasn't scared of him at all. I guess since he has candy, he must be good :)

This is the age group she was in this year.

Katelyn makes some goofy faces when I tell her to say cheese. I never know what I'm going to get.

Katelyn and Kadee standing together, but of course, only one is looking at the camera. I think Kadee is eyeing up an egg she sees!

Kelly, Brad, and Kadee came over Friday night for dinner and to help us dye some eggs. It took about an hour to hard boil the eggs and set up and only about 10 minutes to actually dye them all. I think I had more fun than they did!

Katelyn thought it was fun taking the eggs out of the cup and then dropping it back in.
We went to the St. Thomas egg hunt held at the ball fields on Saturday after it rained all morning. This was probably the 10th year I've gone to this egg hunt. I started taking Ashley and Austin when they were real little and I have never seen any prize eggs. Maybe next year!
Easter morning...Katelyn just spotted her Easter basket we hid in the corner of the kitchen.
She was more excited about getting a Lightning McQueen plate than getting candy!
I have no idea why this started, but everytime I tell her to pose, she puts her finger on her cheek, like Dr. Evil from Austin Powers. It's hilarious!
We hid some eggs outside for Katelyn to hunt in the backyard. That Elmo basket has gotten a lot of use over the past 2 years. She used it for 2 Halloweens and 2 Easters and still loves it!

She really was excited to show off her pretty dress. I just couldn't get any good pictures of her smiling.

She got some goodies in her basket from Mamma and Pap (Crayola No Mess markers and coloring book, Elmo Playground book, Cinderella, wooden animal puzzle, bunny, and some candy.

Not sure if they're devising a plan to help each other or attack the other!

Go, little Luke, go! I love watching him do his army crawl!
