Happy Thanksgiving! We spent the morning watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. Before heading up to the Bob and Dorothy's for dinner, I baked Diane's apple pie which I've been making since the year Katelyn was born. Dinner this year was just as crazy as every other year:) There were 22 people including the kids so it was a little tight. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, regular stuffing, gravy, corn, green beans with mushrooms, oyster stuffing, different types of latkes, corn bread stuffing, sweet potato casserole, homemade applesauce, tofurkey (Dorothy's meatless entree), and biscuits. Since Thanksgiving and Hanukkah fall on the same day, it became Thanksgivukkah. Dorothy's family is Jewish so we joined in their traditions which included lighting the menorah and the kids got gifts (wooden dolls and dreidels).
