Today I am thankful for all that my dad has done for me, my family, and for others. He is the hardest working person I know. Sometimes I think he works too much and too hard, but it's what makes him happy. Building/contructing homes and furniture is his passion and a gift that few people have. When I was a teenager/young adult, he took me along with him to job sites, and taught me everything from swinging a hammer, to tiling bathrooms, to staining hardwood floors. Because of him, my family has a home that was built by his own two loving hands. He's also taught me to work hard, no matter what. And that if I want something done right (by my own standards), do it myself. I could write a book of all of my dad's sayings, but I'll leave you with one of his Confusius-ism that he taught me a long time ago:
"To cleanse skin, bathe. To cleanse heart, forgive."
Thanks Dad!
Love your parents !!! <3 and you ;)
