Katelyn asked me out of the blue the other day, "Mommy, can we please, oh please, oh please, get a dog??? I said, "I'm sorry, honey, but Mommy and Daddy are allergic to dogs." Katelyn is quiet for a few seconds and then says, "Well, you could use your fingers to pinch your nose." Me, laughing, "That's a good idea, but I think I would get tired of pinching my nose after awhile." Katelyn, again after a few seconds of thinking, says, "Well, then you can use a clothespin to close your nose. Can we get a dog now?"
Where does she come up with this stuff?:)
