Christmas Countdown has begun! In each sock this year is a Hershey's chocolate kiss, 2 puzzle pieces for the Birth of Baby Jesus puzzle, an activity for the day, and (new this year) a bible verse. Today's bible verse is Luke 1:26-27 "The angel Gabriel was sent from God unto...Nazareth, to a virgin."
There were 2 activities today: take Christmas picture for the family Christmas cards (so not fun getting a baby and preschooler to both look and smile at the camera!) and start the Christmas coloring book. The picture Katelyn colored was of an angel today. At the end, she will have 24 Christmas pictures and words to go with them.
To end our evening, we watched Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat, Cat in the Hat and The Grinch, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I wasn't planning on letting her stay up to watch all those shows/movies, but she was really good today and it's the Christmas season so I was feeling extra nice:)
Giggles got in my jewelry box last night and was wearing all of my bracelets as necklaces. Silly Giggles!
