7 month stats

Not a whole lot has changed since last month. She is mainly working on her gross motor skills and letting her voice be known.

• As of August 10th, Chloe weights 16 pounds, 9 ounces. Her height is 27 inches. She is in the 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight. Her head circumference is right around 90th percentile so hopefully that means she's a smart cookie.
• Sitting up by herself now!! Woot woot! After a few minutes, she usually lunges forward or falls over, but it's always because she's trying to get her paws on something...toy, blanket, Katelyn, tissue...yeah, today, I caught her with a tissue in her mouth...oops!
• She rolls around all over the place to get what she wants. Just yesterday I noticed she's trying to do an army crawl. Look out world, Chloe is on a mission to search and chew on whatever she can! I can't turn my back on her for even a few seconds. She rolls from one end of the blanket to the other end in just 3 rolls.
• Still not sleeping through the night. I just don't have the heart to let her cry. Dr. Klink says I should get some ear plugs, but hearing her sobbing cries make me physically sick. I figure, too, listening to her cry means I'm not sleeping anyway so what's the harm in going to her? She's not going to be a baby forever.
• Eating baby food has been a little rough this week. I've noticed she spits up more when I give her the baby food. Last night (not that you really want to know) she spit up all the milk she drank after I fed her peas. I'm thinking maybe I need to go back to just cereal for a bit?
• She doesn't recognize too many people yet, but the ones she knows, she LOVES and gets so excited. So far the only people on that list are me, Bob, Katelyn, and my mom. She doesn't cry anymore though if I leave her for a few minutes with other people (mainly my friends in MOMS Club).
• Clothing wise, she's totally out of 6 month stuff. Some of the 9 month outfits are too small and all of her sleepers are 12 months. Before we know it, she'll be caught up with Katelyn who just grew out of her 3t stuff this past month.
• Chloe still growls for no apparent reason...must get it on video!
• No more teeth have come in so we're still at 2 teeth on the bottom.
