My letter to McDonald's

To whom this may concern:
Let me start by saying that McDonalds has lost me as a customer after the experience my children and I had today.
We decided to have lunch at the newly remodeled McDonalds in Chambersburg.  My daughters, ages 7 and 3, were very excited about getting Happy Meals because going to fast food restaurants is not something we do often.  As I pulled into the parking lot (which is extremely confusing with all 'do not enter this way' and 'exit only' signs), a group of ducks were standing in the middle of the parking area and took several minutes to move out of the way.  I have nothing against ducks and do not want them harmed in any way.  My girls and I then walked into McDonalds and the first thing they saw was the display case for the toys being offered in the Happy Meals (Furby or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).  When I asked them which toy they'd like, they excitedly said while jumping up and down, that they'd love to get a Furby.  We walked up to the ordering area which is confusing because there were several people standing around and it's not clear who is in line and who is waiting for their order.  It is also confusing to have menus on tv's that constantly change every ten seconds. Finally, a couple walked to the counter to order so I followed them.  When it was our turn to order, I asked for two Happy Meals (one chicken nuggets, one cheeseburger).  I handed the cashier a $1.99 coupon for one Happy Meal.  The cashier asked me which Happy Meal I'd like to apply it to.  (It seems common sense to me that I would want to apply it to the one that is more expensive.) Then something was keyed in wrong so we had to wait a minute or two for the manager to void out mistake.  Once the order was made, I waited about five minutes for the two Happy Meals.  When my girls opened their bags, they found an Ice Age toy, NOT a Furby.  Both of my girls were very upset that they were told one thing, and found something else.  I told them that we'd find out if they had Furby's and maybe had given us the wrong toy.  A McDonalds employee was wiping the table across from us so I asked her if there were any Furby's or different toys.  She replied, 'no', and went back to wiping the table.  To me, that was not good customer service.  My girls ate their meals (except the cheeseburger which I then ate) and were hoping by the time they were done, that the two McDonalds games would be free by the time they were done.  No, the family who was playing the games when we came in at 12:45pm, was still playing them at 1:25.  Unfortunately, when this McDonald's was remodeled, they did not put more than those two games.  Instead they put four big screen tv's in the main eating area, all on the same news channel.  Before leaving, I asked someone at the counter if they had any Furby toys.  No, they did not.  Instead, my daughters got finger skateboards.
Like I stated in the beginning of my letter, I will no longer be eating at McDonald's due to the poor service and quality of employees.  Please forward this letter to the manager of Delamor Enterprises.  He/she needs to be made aware of these issues.
