When I saw that today I was supposed to take a picture of a button, I figured I'd just take a random picture and pretend that's what I was supposed to do;)
Until I walked into Katelyn's room to get the girls ready for bed. I made that memo board a few years ago using old buttons just laying in a basket. I think I might have been pregnant with Chloe? (I can't really remember so let's just say it was when Katelyn was about 3 years old.)
I do remember it took FOREVER to figure out how to line up the stripes on the material so that they weren't completely straight. Which I must add was one of Katelyn's receiving blankets. I'm not much of a sew-er (is that a word? seamstress maybe?) so that made sewing on the buttons quite a job also. I'm pretty sure I spent about 6 or 7 hours on it. Yes, I could've just bought one at Kohls for $20, but then it wouldn't be special. (Said by the mother who now buys random junk all the time and has no clue where most of the stuff in the house came from!)
