An earthquake is one thing I never thought I'd experience, living in Pennsylvania....
At 1:50pm today, I was sitting on the couch in the family room, watching the girls play School when I felt my butt vibrating and heard rumbling. My first thought was that the the washer was going to fall apart....until I realized I haven't turned the thing on in 3 days. So I jumped up, grabbed the girls as I was looking outside, and thought about where to hide from the tornado.
Then it just stopped....probably less than 15 seconds, start to finish. Since it wasn't a tornado, I figured it must be Letterkenny or the St. Thomas Quarry blasting (usually a weekly occurrence).
About 20 minutes later, Bob called me, asking if we're okay and that an earthquake struck Richmond, VA and that the tremors were felt all over the East coast. As of right now, I have no idea if there was any damage done. I should probably watch the news, huh?
