Summer Fun List 2014

#happyfamilysummer
Last year I came across a blog called the The Happy Family Movement.  I love this family's positive outlook on raising a family.  While browsing around their blog, I came across the Summer Bucket List Challenge.  I love lists and love doing lots of fun stuff with the girls so it was perfect for us.   Here is last year's display.  I wanted something different for this year so I came up with this:
And since the post it's are a little hard to read, here's the list:
Read 17 picture books (Chloe)
Jeep Ride
Parade
Camp in the backyard
Go to the playground
Tie Dye Shirts
Catch fireflies
Read stories outside
Make S'mores
Build a sandcastle
Slip N Slide
BBQ with friends
Water gun fight
Go berry picking
Picnic at the park
Feed ducks
Bowling
Go to the sprinkler park
Cluggy's
Read 6 books (Mommy)
Splash in puddles
Memorial pool
Take a bike ride
Tell ghost stories
Look at the stars
Paint rocks
Read 10 books (Daddy)
Go to the movies outside
Read 20 chapter books (Katelyn)
Make loom necklaces
Voila
Dutch Wonderland
Sweet Frog
Mini golf
Scavenger hunt
Take a walk in pj's with Parker and Peyton
Hike at Cowan's Gap

It's quite a list, but I have no doubt we'll get it all done.  Some activities are free, some will take a lot of planning, some can be done at any time, some might be done a few times over the summer.
Since each activity is posted individually, my plan is to take the activity off the wall once we've done it and make a scrapbook of all the fun.  My biggest challenge will be remembering to take pictures and then printing them out.
Happy Summer 2014!
