Chloe has been so excited to go to school! Not a nervous bone in her body. After Katelyn got on the bus, we decorated her bucket with stickers of her favorite things. I had written her name with puffy paint the day before because I knew it would take awhile to dry.
First day of preschool picture by the garage door
Posing by the front porch
Posing by the rock and mailbox
Acting bashful (I just have to say, I love that sweet little face!!)
Outside the church that the preschool is located
Waiting by the door for her teachers to open them. Two of my friends' sons are also going to the same preschool (one in her class, one in the 4/5 year old class). It's nice to see familiar faces on our first day.
She looks a little uncertain about what to do next. Her teacher, Mrs. R, told her that after she places her bucket on the shelf, she can find her name at the table to work on her 'helping hand'.
The 'helping hand' print will be used to display who the helper of the day is throughout the year.
After making her handprint, it was time to play with table toys. Her other teacher, Mrs. B, was explaining how the gears work.
*Mrs. B. will be on maternity leave for the next 6 weeks after having her first baby:) That's why there are two teachers at the mini session.
Doing an activity with beanbags and a song
Chloe was sneaking peak at me:)
As you'll notice, there's only 4 kids at the rug. So far that's all there will be in her class. Yay for a small class!
Free play-Chloe chose the Weeble Wobbles.
Mrs. R encouraged her to make a craft and even though she looks sad, she actually really enjoyed decorating her heart.
Painting a picture of purple and pink...her nickname should be Pinkalicious!
Chloe loved school so much that she came home and wanted to write her letters on the wipe off cards that Mamma got for her:)
Preschool is going to be a fun and exciting adventure for her this year!
