Here's the story on this egg....while at a MOMS club egg hunt this morning, one of the chickens laid an egg which was then given to Katelyn to bring home. Needless to say, she was ecstatic and of course, did not believe me when I told her that it was not an egg with a baby chick inside. She was determined to nurture that little guy until he cracked through. Which is why there is an egg in a crate with a light shining on it. You know, because light equals heat. Bless her little heart, she cared for that little egg for 2 days and took it to Papa and Dorothy's house to show the family. Unfortunately, on the way home, it somehow got cracked and we had to say goodbye to baby chick:(
Annual egg dyeing with Kadee and Jake....experiment of the day-Koolaid to dye eggs! We used Tropical Punch and Blueberry and it worked great and smelled yummy too!
The girls are into putting on fashion shows recently and posing for the camera:)
