Nutcracker and potatoes

Chloe says the most random things sometimes and I usually forget what she says by the time our day is over (plus I don't blog nearly as much as I used to...hoping to change that again with the new year!)  Anyway, last week we read The Nutcracker at bedtime.  The girls listened to it and enjoyed it, but nothing exciting happened.  The next night, though, as I'm rocking Chloe in the rocker and talking about our day, I asked her something, no idea what it was now, and she looks at me, sighs deeply, and says loudly, "OH NUTCRACKER!"  I burst out laughing because it was so random so she kept saying it repeatedly and then told me to say something funny.  So I said things like, Oh Minnie Mouse, Oh Frosty the Snowman, etc. and she just cracked up laughing everytime!  I need to get her on video saying "Oh, nutcracker" because I have a feeling this little story is one of those 'you had to be there' type moments.

Also, a few weeks ago I took the girls to Danielle's graduation from Shippensburg University.  I explained to the girls that you go to college to learn more about something you're interested in.  I then asked Chloe if she wanted to go to college someday.  She said "yes" so I asked her what she wants to learn more about....she said, "Potatoes!" LOL!
