I am Mommy

Every night the girls and I have the same routine before they go to bed.  We read about three or four stories, or I should say, Katelyn reads at least two books (which is totally awesome that my 5 year old is reading stories to me!) and then I read one or two more. 
After I turned on Katelyn's magic lights, I took Chloe to her room and we cuddled on the rocker for a few minutes.  She was especially cuddly and talkative this evening so I called her a crazy kid.  She said, "I not crazy kid.  You crazy kid."  I said back to her, "I'm not a crazy kid.  I'm a grownup."  Her response was "You not grownup.  You Mommy!"  I, of course, laughed.
Then she faced towards me, placed her hands on my face, and said, "Chloe make Mommy happy."  I smiled, and said, "yes, Chloe makes me happy and laugh all the time."  And, get ready for your heart to melt....she said, "Mommy make Chloe happy."
I love that kid! ♥
