Yes, it's been way too long since I posted. My creative writing juices just aren't flowing recently. But it was pointed out to me today that Miss Chloe is now 21 months old. Yikes! Somehow I've let a few months go without updating all her accomplishments/milestones.
Now where to start? Let's see...what isn't she doing nowadays? Chloe uses quite a lot of words in her everyday speech and frequently spits out new words either by repeating or on her own. The other day Katelyn was reviewing her sight words for school and Chloe repeated every single word on the list (words such as like, me, my, am, the, etc). Her favorite phrases are "I want binky/blankie." or "I need that." She knows people's names, at least kids names (Helen, Ellie, Ashley, Austin, Morgan, Luke, Katelyn).
This girl is a climber, for sure. Nothing scares her. She has attempted a couple of times to climb out of her crib with me watching. She's not quite tall enough or strong enough to get her leg over the bar, but she's close. I think we'll be putting together the toddler bed sooner than expected.
Katelyn and Chloe play really well together. They play with babies, dress up like princesses, make believe that they're dogs, paint, color, play hide and seek, read books together. I love it! Of course, they do fight and scream and hit each other (more Chloe pulling Katelyn's hair than anything), but that's part of being sisters. I always make the one in the wrong say 'sorry' and then it's all good again.
Some general facts: Chloe is about 24 lbs, wears 24 month/2T clothes, size 6 or 7 shoe, and size 3 diapers. Not sure of her height off hand, but I know she's grown an inch in the past 2 months.
I'm sure I've forgotten some really cute things that she has said or done. I'll try to record them as I think of them today or tomorrow (but don't hold me to that!).
Its cute to hear they are playing so well together, you must be happy you have two children in close age so that they can grow up together :) Beautiful kids <3
