Living arrangements

Last week Katelyn stayed the night with my parents and then spent the whole next day with my Mom.  She had VBS that night and didn't get home until 8:30.  That's the longest amount of time Katelyn and I have been apart in a long time.  Here's the conversation we had that night then:
Katelyn:  Mommy, I don't want to live with Mamma anymore.  I missed you and cried at night when I wanted you.
Me:  Okay, honey, you don't have to live with Mamma.
Katelyn:  I don't want to be alone.  I want to live with you forever.
Me:  Okay, that's fine.
Katelyn:  I don't want to get married!  I don't want to leave you.
Me:  You don't have to get married, honey.
Katelyn:  Yes, I do!  But I don't want to live with him.  I want to live with you!
Me:  You can live with me for as long as you want.
Katelyn:  Okay

Fast forward to our drive home from my parents house tonight:
Katelyn:  Mommy, I'm going to live with Mamma.
Me:  I thought you decided you want to stay with me.
Katelyn: No, I'll live with Mamma's, but I'll miss you so I'll live both places, okay?
Me:  Sure, that'll work.
Katelyn:  No, I'll still miss you....how about you move into Mamma's house too and then people who don't have houses can live in our house?
Me:  Great idea, Katelyn:)
